KERASTASE Résistance Thermique Extentioniste Heat Protectant 150ml

Kérastase Résistance Thermique Extentioniste is a 150ml leave-in gel-cream that protects weak, long hair from heat styling. Kérastase says it gives heat protection up to 230°C and helps hair resist breakage when brushed. It contains creatine, taurine and ceramides, and two silicones (dimethicone and amodimethicone).

How it works

The gel-cream is applied to towel-dried hair before a hairdryer or heat tool. Kérastase says Creatine R, taurine and ceramides help reinforce the hair, and that it detangles without breakage. The silicones smooth and coat the lengths.

Who it suits

Long, weak hair that is blow-dried or straightened, and frizz-prone hair in Cyprus humidity.

What it will not do

• It will not mend split ends. It helps limit new breakage.
• It contains silicones and many fragrance allergens. Check the list below if you are sensitive.
• It is a leave-in, not a rinse-out conditioner.

Good to know

Kérastase directs: apply a walnut-sized amount to towel-dried hair, style with a hairdryer or heat appliance, and leave in.
