Kérastase Spécifique Bain Prévention is a 250ml scalp-balancing shampoo for thinning-looking hair and hair prone to falling. Kérastase positions it as the cleansing step of its Spécifique hair-fall routine. It is a cosmetic shampoo: it does not stop hair loss or regrow hair.

How it works

Sodium laureth sulfate cleanses, polyquaternium-10 conditions lightly and piroctone olamine helps keep the scalp clean. Glycyrrhetinic acid is listed near the end of the formula.

What it will not do

• It is not a medical hair-loss treatment. Shedding can come from stress, hormones, diet or health conditions, so see a doctor if it is sudden or heavy.
