KERASTASE Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum

Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum is an overnight leave-in serum for dry hair. You apply it before bed to the lengths and ends of dry or damp hair and do not rinse it out in the morning. It nourishes with niacinamide, glycerin and panthenol.

How it works

Dimethicone and C13-16 isoalkane give it a light, silky texture that coats the lengths, while glycerin, niacinamide, panthenol and ascorbyl glucoside condition the hair and hydrolysed wheat, corn and soy proteins soften the surface. Because it sits on the hair overnight, the silicones reduce friction against the pillow.

Who it suits

• Dry, dull or rough hair that needs extra softness by morning
• Hair dried out by sun, sea and chlorine over the summer
• Anyone short on time in the morning who wants a no-rinse step

What it will not do

• It will not repair damaged hair. It softens and conditions; repair comes from regular masks and trims.
• It is not a scalp treatment. Apply it to the lengths and ends, not the scalp.

Good to know

Kérastase says to spread one pump in your hands, distribute through the lengths and ends of dry or damp hair before bedtime and leave it in. The formula contains two colourants (CI 19140 and CI 14700), fragrance and wheat, corn and soy proteins. Use less on fine hair so it does not look flat in the morning.
